The NCAA will now allow college athletes the opportunity to benefit from their name, image, and likeness. Before this ruling, NCAA student-athletes were not able to profit off of their likeness. Meaning that larger-than-the-sport athletes like Zion Williamson could benefit off of their image and not be reprimanded for making money off of their talents.
